Nikon 50mm vs 35mm

Nikon 50mm vs 35mm
Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens
Cheap but probably the best overall lens I own. Light weight, fast aperture and sharp.
Nikon AF Nikkor 35mm f/2D lens
Like the 50mm, but heavier. It’s more perfect sometimes, but sometimes it's way too wide.

Mixing color LED bulbs
Incandescent bulbs are better but i noticed if I put two defferent color LED togetter they can be ok.
Also sometimes it causes a split color shaddow that is interseting to see randomly.
Clear glass also just looks better to me, more oldschool.

Pines Fuego

"Pines Fuego" oil on canvas
 2024  (size upon request)

Here's a preview painting that I will be exhibiting later this year for my solo show "Deeper Terrain" at Art Farm Iowa. The scene is of a forest fire with Florida's longleaf pine trees. As of late I've gone on many road trips throughout  Florida and one thing that always sticks out to me and reminds me of my childhood are these unique pine trees.

Overtime I feel like I see less and less of them as the scenery of South Florida continues to change.  The fire may seem dystopian and bleak of what lies ahead, but it also represents rebirth, renewal and inner spirit. I choose the title for my latest show "Deeper Terrain" for it's landscape elements but it also goes into something more in-depth within personal experiences of looking deep within myself as a maturing painter.

Deeper Terrain is the series of memory, a deeper mental terrain by landscapes and other motifs I've used over time within my work. "Deeper Terrain" opens this September at Art Farm Iowa.

Universal Stella Nova
Brand new hotel
an Epic view of the Stella Nova hotel during sunset,
The mosaic of colorful tiles, reflective and shimmers in the light.
First Impressions
The color reflective tiles
are amazing to look!
Looks even cooler in person.
Stella Nova is located right next to the all new Universal Epic Universe theme park
One of the coolest futuristic looking buildings I've ever seen.
I'm sure it looks even cooler during sunrise.
